Finally a personal post

Okay everyone so im gonna tell you what's been going on in our lives lately. First of all my photography business is going great! I've been booked like crazy! So thank you to all of my wonderful clients. Can't wait to do the sneak peeks from today. My review blogging is also going great. I have probably about 15 items I need to get done right now, which is a little overwhelming but so worth it. I love getting to try products for Lex and show them all to you. We are still battling our infertility issues, which I am on medication for. I've unfortunately suffered through 5 miscarriages so getting pregnant isn't the problem, keeping the pregnancy is the problem. Until recently I would think I'm only 26 how could this happen to me so young?! And in reality I've gotten so much support from moms who have done this. So that's taken a lot of weight off my shoulders. If any of you want more information about the route we are taking please comment below and I'll answer anything you want to know. We haven't gotten to the point where we need IVF yet, and we're hoping it doesn't get to that point. So wish us some baby dust this month, we really need it!!! I would love to hear your stories if you have gone through this as well. As I  said sometimes I feel so alone. If you don't want everyone to read it you can email me at mylittlepiecesoflove@yahoo.com
And tell your story there. Other than that Lex is doing great. He's a little lonely I feel because he doesn't really have anyone his age to be with, unfortunately he still hasn't seen his cousins. We miss them so much. I miss their cute little faces and how loving my niece was, and how smart my nephew was. It crushes my heart that our family is torn apart, which I think is why I'm wanting a second baby so bad, I don't want lex alone. I always think whether his cousins think about him. If they miss him? My nephews birthday is coming up and I don't even know if I should get a present. I really wish that I could see them. But as you all know the story I haven't gotten an apology for the threats so I guess it's going to be a long time before we see them. Anyways, Lex is starting to talk a lot more! He's speaking Spanish even. And completely understands it. Which is great im so happy about that. He is extremely smart. David and I are doing well, I think we could be doing better but I know I can be hard to deal with lol! But thank you all for following my blog and I hope that all of you mamas comment below or send me an email. I'd love to answer any questions. Thank you, and as always here is my photo of the week

Simba & Mama Cloth Diapers Review and Giveaway

These cloth diapers are amazing!
For many reasons, and one reason is very close to my heart. First let me tell you about the diapers. They are absolutely adorable! And the absorbancy is great, my son leaks through disposable diapers all the time at bedtime, and when I use the cloth diaper at night he doesn't leak at all! For $24.99 you get  a cloth diaper plus two inserts and a thin cloth piece that is for if you use diaper creams etc. Which also have cute prints on them. You also get a wetbag. That is an extremely low and great price for all of that. For the quality I think the price should be higher. The second reason is that every time a cloth diaper is purchased one is sent to a newborn baby in Bali, who could be an orphan, or can't afford diapers, whatever the reason may be. But the fact that they do this amazes me. It's not often that you find companies that give nowadays. If I was a millionaire I'd buy them all just so that all those little babies had enough diapers to last them a lifetime! That is a great reason for you to purchase from them if you are a giving person like me. "WE CAN ONLY CHANGE THE WORLD IF WE CHANGE OURSELVES". My son as you know is 2 years old and weighs 26 lbs. and they still fit him. They're made to fit from newborn to his size, and even bigger. (yes, we are working on potty training, not going so well) Right now if you go to their facebook site you can get one of their diapers with all of the accessories as long as you leave a review on Amazon for them, which is so easy to do. You can reach their facebook at https://www.facebook.com/simbaandmama. On there you can also see all of the other deals they have going on as well. BUT $10 FOR ALL OF THAT! YOU CANT BEAT THAT! You can also visit their website and subscribe to it and receive emails and just for signing up you can earn a $5 gift card towards their diapers. How awesome is that! Get your butts over their now and get some cloth diapers ;) http://www.simbaandmama.com/. Make sure you stop by and give their page a like on facebook, and if you do purchase a diaper whether it is $10 or not please leave a review on amazon to help them move the company up on the pages, I haven't tried any other cloth diaper but, this is the only one I've heard of so far that donates one to a baby in need.Thank you Simba & Mama for making this world a better place. I hope you enjoy my crazy little monkey in these diapers lol he loves them.

 This is from their website:
"With your purchase, you will be supporting a newborn mother and baby in Indonesia who face high maternal and infant mortality rates due to poverty. We are deeply grateful for your compassion and support. Thank you." Cloth Diaper Giveaway! (Simba & Mama)

Lil Belos Velos, LLC Infinity drool scarf with matching headband

Lil Belos Velos have the cutest headbands and infinity scarves ever! They send me one for my niece and she looks absolutely adorable! (you have to wait until the end to see her) She got the pink and teal anchor print and it is so pretty!
The material is extremely soft and silky, and when she wears it she loves it WAY more than a bib that is all hard and terrible fabric. I was very impressed with the packaging and how everything was sent to me. That's a big plus to me anyway, when a company has nice packaging instead of just getting a box in the mail. They have all different kinds of prints and will actually make you an order from facebook and put it on their  website so you can pay for it for special prints. I ordered a head band for myself and I wear it all the time which has caused an addiction for me. lol
I have been needing to order more but I've been so busy. They are extremely well priced for this kind of quality, headbands start at $8.00 and the drool scarves start at $12.50. You can find all of their fabrics on their facebook page, as well as order from it too. Their facebook site is https://www.facebook.com/lilbelovelos. If you would rather order from their regular website you are welcome to do so as well at http://lilbelovelos.com/. Head over there and get yours now, because when you see my little cutie in it you're gonna be in love! I will also post the other items I bought just so you can see the other options they have. Make sure you stop by and give their facebook a "like". By the way the scarves are unisex, not just for girls! So don't worry mamas there are boy options as well. Thank you again Lil Belos Velos for providing us with such soft, beautiful fabric instead of those darn old bibs. You're the best!!

The Art Kit Subscription

We were so thrilled when The Art Kit agreed to send us a kit! I love doing crafts with my little man. It gives us such great bonding time together and I love painting so I hope that some of that rubs off on him too. My husband is extremely artistic as well so I'm glad he has the desire for arts and crafts like we do. I was overly impressed by the box I was sent, the personalized letter was great and is always a big plus for me. Now, because I reviewed it I did get something extra, not sure what it was because there was so much but it was great. Lex and I opened it together and it felt like it was never going to end with how filled it was. It came with paints that you make on your own, which I absolutely was in love with as soon as I saw them, plus they even send you all the materials like little cups to mix the paint in, as well as paper. It also came with a puzzle, that is great for my sons age. Each month is leaning towards a different art theme. So I'm assuming we got the painting theme. Which is fine with me! We got a little sticker book, a book about a famous artist, a bag to put everything in, pencils, and so much more as you will see in the photos. The kit is $34.95 a month and is charged on the first of the month every month. You may cancel at any time or you may order just one kit. You can also buy different art items instead of a kit, visit their website http://theartkit.com/ for more details, they go into more detail about siblings and what each kit has or is geared towards. You can also like them on  Facebook. They have a 35% discount on all items except the monthly order right now so take advantage of that because these are excellent quality items. I am extremely happy with this order. Thank you to The Art Kit for making my son so happy, and helping him learn at the same time. Here is Lex opening his.

Mamaway Ring Sling Baby Carrier

I got the Mamaway Ring Sling not to long ago and I absolutely love it. I also have an ergo which I love, but the ergo seems more restricting. When I carry Lex, my 2 year old son, it feels like he has a little more freedom and can move around a little more. At first it was a little complicated to get a hold of how to put it on and adjust it by myself, but after a few tries it was easy. I got the blue and white striped with red anchors on it, and I LOVE the print! It is so adorable! There are 15 different styles to choose from. I just saw the Mickey Mouse  print and wish I would have seen that when I ordered mine because it is so cute, and we go to Disney ALL THE TIME! This wrap can be used from newborn to 35lbs which is great because I still have a long time to use it with my little man, until we have another one. Which is hopefully soon :) I highly recommend this wrap because of the comfort and the fact that you can use it for so long. It doesn't hurt your back at all! This is a great gift for a baby shower, especially for moms who are new to babywearing. They are on sale now on amazon for $67.99, which seems high but if you think about the length of time you get to use it and the durability it really isn't that much. You can find it here here on amazon, that is the link for you. I would definitely run over and get it  while it is on sale. I also have a video on youtube on how to put it on, please don't judge how embarrassed I look! No but in all seriousness this is a must have on your baby list. I have another wrap I will be reviewing soon, but this is towards the top. The regular price is $95, so its a $30 discount right now. And with amazon  prime you  get free shipping. Here's me carrying my 25 pound 2 year old in it. By the way I love this photo, my hubby caught a good one of us.

Helios Self Tanning Towels

Helios self tanning towels are absolutely amazing! One because they are made with natural products, and two because they create a nice even tan all over your entire body. Plus they are like the size of a hand towel instead of a cream that gets all nasty and turns your body orange. I don't use tanning beds because skin cancer runs in my family, nor do I try to tan all day long in the sun either. I use the same SPF as my son does to keep myself protected. I have tried creams before and I was unhappy because they were always turning me too orange, I've tried spray tans but there are so many chemicals. But Helios works great for me. I absolutely love them! I have already recommended them to a few people. The best part is that once you put it on it keeps working so your body continues to tan. Now I do live in Florida and the directions say don't get wet for 6-7 hours but here that was impossible so I noticed a tiny spot that came off, or I guess you could say was a little lighter, but that was because I had only done it 2 hours before. Next time I'll remember to do it before bed or right when I wake up. Florida is just so unpredictable with the weather. And as most of you know I try to use the more natural products for myself and my son. I'm trying to get my hubby too as well. The towels start at $14.99 which is more affordable than any spray tan and lasts a lot longer. They also have a deal right now, buy 10 get 2 free! That's a great deal! And so worth it! You can visit their facebook page and give them a like at Helios Facebook Page or you can visit their website to place an order, which I recommend you do quick at http://heliostan.com/buy-now.php. And this I am quoting from their webpage so you can see how natural they are "Helios is gluten, sulphate and paraben free, using only certified organic ingredients, including: dihydroxyacetone or DHA, the only FDA-approved sunless tanning ingredient sourced from European suppliers. In addition, Helios enhances DHA tanning performance with certified organic aloe, jojoba and avocado oils. Tanning results last up to 10 days. The solution will not rub off on clothing or bedding." Here's a few photos of what the packaging looks like, I will add a before and after when this one wears off because I didn't think to do it first. There goes that mommy brain again! ;)
